SeaOrals
Terms Of Use
Effective 5 October 2026. These terms apply when you create an account or use the SeaOrals service.
Use Of SeaOrals
SeaOrals AI is provided as a maritime study, revision and exam-preparation tool. It is designed to help learners practise oral-exam answers, search study material and organise revision.
You must not use SeaOrals as the sole source for operational, navigational, safety-critical, legal or compliance decisions.
Educational Content
SeaOrals content may include AI-generated study material, summaries, examiner-style questions and user-uploaded document outputs. These are study aids and should be checked against current official sources.
Official sources may include MCA notices, IMO publications, SOLAS, MARPOL, COLREGs, STCW, MLC, flag state requirements, class requirements, company SMS and vessel-specific procedures.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for using the app lawfully and professionally.
You must not attempt to access another user's account, uploaded documents, admin tools, internal data or restricted SeaOrals systems.
Uploaded Material
You should only upload material that you are allowed to use. Do not upload confidential company documents, copyrighted material or personal data unless you have the right to do so.
Uploaded user documents are intended for private study use within the account that uploaded them.
Availability And Changes
SeaOrals is under active development and features may change as the platform improves.
During early access and early launch, occasional issues, downtime or incomplete content areas may occur.
Subscriptions And Cancellation
Where paid plans are offered, the price, billing period, trial terms and renewal arrangement will be shown before you agree to pay. Payments will be processed by the payment provider shown at checkout.
You may cancel future renewal using the account or billing controls made available with the paid plan. Cancellation does not remove any statutory consumer rights that apply to you.
Any discount code is subject to its displayed duration, eligibility and plan restrictions and has no cash value.
Fair Use And Suspension
Do not automate requests, scrape content, share account access, interfere with the service or use SeaOrals to create a competing content database.
SeaOrals may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, content, providers or the service. Where practical, the reason and available next steps will be explained.
Liability And Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to those rights, SeaOrals is not responsible for operational decisions made using study content, loss caused by relying on outdated or incomplete material, or failures outside SeaOrals' reasonable control.
